About Us
At Stapleford Abbotts Day Service we believe the key to a successful day service lies in forging a close partnership between home and the centre.
Our aim is to provide high quality care in a stimulating, safe and secure environment, this helps the service users to achieve their full potential in all areas of development. We also follow and adhere to all policies including Health and Safety and Equal Opportunities to ensure the highest possible care is achieved at all times.
To help us bring the “family” atmosphere to our day service, every one of our staff has been chosen with the utmost care. They are fully trained or undergoing training and demonstrate a real interest in care.
All of our staff must have the professionalism to work as a team dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each service user.
At Stapleford Abbotts Day Service we believe in making the transition from home to Day Centre an easy one, therefore, we have a 'settling in' policy whereby you can accompany your son/daughter in the sessions for as many visits as you feel necessary. There is also a communication book that goes home with each service user every day so that you know what your child/service user has achieved during the day and provides a way for you to communicate with us daily.
The service is also wheelchair accessible.
We encourage communication between home and the centre so we are always available for telephone conversations and meetings can be arranged at your convenience.
Transport can be provided.
