All of our staff must have the professionalism to work as a team, dedicated to meeting the unique needs of each service user.


Manager

Responsible for the overall running of the service. The Manager is experienced and qualified in all aspects of care holding full NVQ level 5 or equivalent qualifications as well as a wealth of experience.

 

Deputy Manager/Senior Support Worker

The Deputy/Senior Support Worker represents the Manager and is a professionally qualified specialist with many years of 'hands on' experience.

 

Key Workers

Each service user is allocated a 'key worker', who takes a special interest in their welfare. The 'key worker' develops a close relationship with the service user in order to help them settle into the day service life.

Through observation, record keeping and assessment they can monitor each service user's progress and keep you accurately informed.

 

All staff are trained in First Aid, Epilepsy and NVQ in care or working towards NVQ level 3 and are encouraged to further their experience by attending regular training days, in-house and externally. Regular training includes

Autism specific training, NAPPI (Non-Abusive Psychological & Physical

Intervention) training, training in Handling Challenging Behaviours and SOVA (Safeguarding of Vulnerable Adults) training.

 

All staff are DBS, List 99 and POVA/SOVA checked.
